- Two-Player Games -
It's often hard to find great two-player games. Normally designers will list a title as 2-4+ but really only intend for this game to be played with 4. Marketing. Ugh. Here you'll find our list of two-player only games. There are tons of titles in our library that are still great for two but playable with more, but this is a trusty list of games specifically designed for two people.

7 Wonders: Duel - 7 Wonders is an amazing game that plays seven in about a half hour. But it struggles with an awkward two player variant. In 7 Wonders: Duel, players compete against their opponent to conquer their civilization scientifically, militarily, or culturally. Often regarded as the 'best' two-player strategy game. 30 minutes.
Lost Cities - In Lost Cities, players piece together expeditions in search of fortune by discovering bits of information about long abandoned cities. However, these trips are expensive, so care must be taken that any such adventure is able to recoup the initial investment. 30 minutes.
Patchwork - So many games have repetitive themes, like "space," "fantasy," and... quilting? In Patchwork, players attempt to put together the best quilt they can for the upcoming exhibition. Don't let the theme put you off - this is a smart and surprisingly cunning game. 20-30 minutes.
